The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston has within its boundaries 55 elementary schools and 8 high schools with a total of approximately 18,000 students. Each school is fully accredited with the Texas Education Agency through the Texas Catholic Conference Accreditation Commission.  The commissioner of education in Texas recognizes this commission as the accrediting agency for Catholic schools.  This ensures that students are able to transfer between public and Catholic schools and that teacher service at Catholic schools is recognized by the state.  Catholic schools in the diocese are affiliated with the NCEA and with other Catholic schools in Texas through the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department.

In this section you will find a school locator and specific information on each individual school.
