St. Joseph
St. Joseph is honored as
the beloved spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary
and the foster father of Jesus. Long
revered as the patron of workers, St. Joseph was
declared patron saint and protector of the
universal Church by Pope Pius IX in 1870.
