Crucifix
Dominating the apse is a
twenty-foot cross bearing a twelve foot corpus
of Jesus. Both are made of linden wood and
carved by Italian artist, Edmun Rabanser in
Ortisei, Italy. The centrality, size, and
beauty of this crucifix are a constant reminder
to the faithful of the all-sufficient sacrifice
of Christ on the cross, now made present on the
altar.
