The Bluebonnet Deanery has served as the
pilot rural community for implementation of the NFCYM’s rural
ministry and small town document. A collaborative ministry model
has been established with
the deaneries’ pastors, DREs, youth ministers and the Archdiocesan
Offices of Youth Ministry and Continuing Christian Education.
The CCE Office has assisted with various catechetical leader and
catechist formation services. The Office of Youth Ministry has
provided a Youth Ministry Leadership Formation day for the
deanery’s youth and adult leadership. These services, which
include local needs’ assessment and assistance with youth and
adult catechetical formation, are available to other rural
communities.
